The goal is never to change someone’s life, it’s to give them even just one thing they can’t stop thinking about on the drive home that night.

Everyone is at different points and different levels at what they do. We aren’t trying to make everyone into a rockstar performing at the highest level and breaking records - that’s not realiastic. Instead the goal is to give everyone a small lift. If we can enable everyone to lift by 5-10% in everything they do because of the approach they’re taking and the reason this lift comes will be different for everyone. That change is huge.

When it comes to wellbeing, foundations and people, putting numbers and metrics on everything is often not the right approach… but we do need to be able to quanitfy the difference sessions make.

Well-being Strategies

Balancing an approach that inspires, with real tangible strategies that the group can take away and truly implement is vital. As a result, we asked the question “How likely are you to utilise one of the Well-being strategies provided in Matt’s talk?” following the session.

Increased Attendance

Matt prepares a personalised video for the team to be sent out with the session invite. We asked “How did watching the introduction video effect your likelihood of attending the talk” to every attendee and gave them 3 possible options to select.

How teams describe the talk

When asked how they would describe Matt’s talk in a few sentences, the most common adjectives were tallied from exactly 1000 randomised responses.

Desire to complete another

Attendees were asked “How valuable would you find another session with Matt now that you have attended one already?”

Decreased Absenteeism

Days off work (for any reason) within the 6 month period following Matt’s session/s dropped by 1.8% from the 6 month previous.

Increase in Uptake of other tools

In the 6 month period following Matt’s session/s there was a 17.1% increase in EAP provider info requests/uptake and a 12.7% increase in use of other wellbeing provider/platforms (if used by the organisation) than the 6 months previous.

All info provided has been conducted by myself and not a third party. All info is accurate and made available to each organisation after sessions are completed and results are collected anonymously. This information is intended to act as an additional tool to inform decisions and is not any form of guarantee of results. In short - these are great indicators of the impact I’m able to have, but all statistics and results will vary with every team.

The fine print info - things to know about this data and how it was collected

39 different businesses/organisations across 107 different sessions have made up this data. Everything from conferences to workshops, lunch & learn sessions, tradie toolbox breakfasts.

All data was requested anonymously

When submissions were requested, survey links were sent out to all attendees of the session.

Business wide data was collected at least 6 months following our session and a $500 Prezzy card was provided as gratitude for the work provided and the time taken to collect and provide all stats.
