Why this won’t work
Every year I receive huge numbers of requests for talks, only interested in Mental Health Awareness Week or similar - being brought in to ‘tick a box’ in the wellbeing space. It’s become clear that teams can see through this, and although initial responses are positive, the long term impact isn’t there. In short, everything I can provide doesn’t work unless the organisation does and is dedicated to enabling their team in the long run, not just one week a year.
The goal is never to change someone’s life, it’s to give them even just one thing they can’t stop thinking about on the drive home that night.
